Have a question? We’re here to help.

  • What does a concierge doctor do?

A concierge doctor has a limited number of patients so that they can spend as much time as needed to get to the root cause of illness and come up with a plan together to improve your overall health and wellness.

  • Does a concierge doctor take insurance?

Every concierge medical practice is a little different in whether they take health insurance or not. It is best to read the patient agreement carefully to see if they take insurance, and see what exactly it covers.

  • Is a concierge doctor worth it?

Concierge Medicine is almost universally lauded as a new and easily accessible form of healthcare. The retainer fee is typically less than any of the subscription services many of us pay on a monthly basis. Many of us spend more on our cars over the same time period. Why not invest in your own health and wellness?

  • What are the benefits of a concierge doctor?

A concierge physician can typically spend as much time as is needed to work with their patients on acute and chronic illnesses. A well-run concierge practice can ensure that you can be seen the same day or the next day either in-office or with a telemedicine visit. Concierge physicians can also partner with you in improving your overall health and wellness. Team-based healthcare is the present and future of Primary Care. A strong concierge practice will be able to connect with you dieticians, physical trainers, acupuncturists, yoga instructors. Your concierge doctor should be the QB when it comes to coordinating your healthcare, particularly when there are multiple healthcare providers involved. MD360 adds to these responsibilities by also being an advocate for patients when it comes to working with health insurance and prescription drug coverage.

  • Does a concierge doctor make house calls?

If their schedule permits, a concierge physician can make house and office calls if necessary, particularly with senior patients who are less mobile.

  • Does a concierge doctor do telemedicine visits?

Yes, concierge doctors can make telemedicine visits. Given the current pandemic, telemedicine has become a large part of many medical practices.

  • How much does a concierge doctor cost?

MD360 charges $1900/year for ages 18-35, and $2400/year for ages 35 and up. These fees can be paid annually, quarterly or monthly. In general, our retainer fee covers the annual physical and wellness exams, and any visits related to findings from these two visits. Health insurance is billed for any labs or imaging studies that are necessary.

  • Should I interview a concierge doctor first to see if we are compatible?

Absolutely. The doctor/patient relationship is very important. The difference with MD360 than with other concierge practices is that our goal is to form a partnership with our patients and their families. The support networks are equally important in not only gaining a detailed history but also in forming a plan for impactful health and wellness. Step 1 with MD360 is scheduling a free consultation to discuss your medical history, any previous challenges, and your long-term goals.

  • Why would I pay for a concierge doctor when I can see a doctor that takes insurance?

There are many challenges in today’s healthcare system, even with “good insurance”. Many times, it can take days or even weeks to get into seeing a primary care physician. Even then, there is a good chance you will be seeing another physician or mid-level provider who does not know you as well as your doctor. With the mountain of paperwork and documentation that is required in healthcare, there is little time for today’s doctors to get back to their patients personally. Much of the time they are forced to send messages through the medical assistant. With MD360, you can contact your physician directly. They will assess your situation and schedule you for a same-day or next-day visit when necessary. They will also call you as soon as they have the results of any lab test or imaging study. Your physician will personally coordinate your care, especially when multiple doctors and healthcare systems are involved. With MD360, you not only have a Personal Physician but also a Partner who is with you at every step in your journey toward health and wellness.

  • What is your office protocol for your vacations/time away?

Yes, occasionally your physician will need to take time off and recharge with their family just like the rest of us. MD360 has highly capable and compassionate physician partners who cover each other when the need arises. If a patient needs close monitoring, your doctor will let you know ahead of time when they will be taking time off, and they will make sure that the covering physician is well aware of your current medical needs.
